Hold On 04:28
Hold On Hold on you weren’t prepared for yourself. Text books for sale But you seem fine Tears have come and this halo is gone. Lord knows I’ve waited To be free of you Your son has discarded your feeling of youth. Your daughter stands stranded in the noisiest or rooms. But who has died becoming more than a fool? Not you. But you try. And try again. Not today sir? What they say is but a sea of small talk Mindless debate But you seem smart Talking reason Forward rewind What they say here is undoubtedly zero answers but plenty of hands to climb And unwind if I can Hold on you weren’t prepared for yourself. Hold on you weren’t prepared for yourself. This house for sale Now you’ve seen life

The Dirt I Settled In You take the Encino way and I’ll drive past Cline’s We’ll meet at Fort, you and I. Something lies inside my eager mind to find that time has cared to write Just over this hill passed a dried up river and white paint splatter on the road before you know, I’ll be home but I feel more inclined to remember the walk my people did in a town where Billy lies Be safe on a two-lane highway at night, don’t let the train light fool your eyes Just ride along its side And distant silos come around, you hold your breath through Melrose town Just over this hill passed some homemade cider and a road to Elida C'mon, before you know, I’ll be home but I feel more inclined to remember the dirt I settled in And so, there will be hope for me, but I won’t be left, I won’t be grown until my breath heals your soul Just over the hill passed the old Floyd highway when I come to the Avenue O, It’s then that I know that I’m home

Bitter Inner Atmosphere They were mistaken the harvest was less than expected. We were born in time of glory In retrospect I wasn’t all that gifted Mary, Mary, the fire around the ashes has drifted Mary, Mary, the west Texas travel has been lifted. I say we crawl, in the field until we rid our palms Of pride, tonight It appears as worried fervor in our bones Is it a dream? If only you had found The remembrance of hope, that stimulates when coming home You are, you are the fear Coming down has drawn near. No time at all, you could’ve called If you wondered about my bitter inner atmosphere What was solved? But hubris carried in your call You are you are the essence of clean if you’d just listen. The remembrance of hope, that stimulates when coming home You are, you are the fear Coming down has drawn near. No time at all, you could’ve called If you wondered about my bitter inner atmosphere The problem comes from smoke taken from the can Then it hits us/you/me on the head The song they/I wrote you love, coming from/my band. Was written in a trance/written from a plan

This Song 04:01
This Song My thoughts set sail today I heard you were in town You came one winter’s day before the year had end And as we argue I turn to you and say I’ll fall, I’ll fall in love again Hold still while I control the source of your reflection Honey you know I would protect you from any harm Stay up with me and wait for word coming from the doctor Telling me I’ll live to be old and be just fine And if the world should say we’re wrong Just say we have this song When the flowers move towards the sun the day is failry young, and the borderline heatwave keeps us inside When the trees run scared they form piles in the winter lawn, when the trees sway, and the windows fog if you breathe right. And if the world should say we’re wrong Just say we have this song

Angry Trust 04:57
Angry Trust Lie down the sleep in your cozy little bed Don’t peel the sheets it’s mighty cold, don’t be afraid On the ceiling shadows speak. But they aren’t breathing, they’re deceiving you again And I know the floor creaks even when there’s no one around And thought the mind may draw Tiny picture of eyes that burn the soul, you learn to cope. Under control, did the feeling keep you down? Could you wait another day to hit the ground? If I ever explore again It will be a season of angry trust. Pull the curtain, shine the spot light. On the fore head you absorb the sweat Tie the voices to the stigma you created un-evaded in your head. And I know the floor creaks even when there’s no one around. Under control, did the feeling keep you down? Could you wait another day to hit the ground? If I ever explore again It will be a season of angry trust.

Lightning Bug Such a bright beam breaks the sand stream through the glass Such a bright light Like ashes falling on the snow peak after the blast Such a bright light Egad! There is a mild swarm of lightning bugs to catch Such a bright light And wherever she is there’s a shine to lead her back Such a bright light Egad! She saw them fall asleep and then dim down And we tried to bring them home with us And what I didn’t know is where they would go in the daylight And we tried to bring them home with us There is a mild swarm of lightning bugs to catch Such a bright light And wherever she is there’s a shine to lead her back Such a bright light Egad!

Everyone Is Here A petty fool, unfazed by what I’ve become All my life, I seen the world torn. The shoreline is peaceful now they’ve gone All I want is just one more chance to make believe There’s a bottle out there I can trust In your savior’s eyes I’ve been a fool for too long and my faith has gone astray, and everyone is here. A simple man unsure of the call, and my story is not one to fall on deaf ears for too long. I shook the hand of the unsimple life. Curse the new sounds of the people’s cries, and wondered if it could be you. What a clever way to speak to these souls Everyone one is here. It’s the face I can’t wash off the walls Everyone is here. It’s the child’s eyes I’ve grown to love.

40 Leagues Below Bow This was my only plan. It was solid it was grand With a careful reach of sanity in tact Hold your tongue I was cold and on the run It wasn’t easy staying afloat, no no What would you call it? An honest vagrant? Pieced together emancipation? Do you want it? Is it needed? Where the hell is my paddle have you seen it? Wooden row device The cries were so concise. Whirlpool of 40 vessels ho! Many blokes have drowned They went 40 leagues below bow. A nautical down Where’s the crowd to save you now? OH NO!!! Hold that note. It brings us petty ghost He warned us at the coast I wasn’t sure if we had weathered the storm. Hold that note. It brings us petty ghost He warned us at the coast I wasn’t sure if we had weathered the storm Wooden row device The cries were so concise. Whirlpool of 40 vessels ho! Many blokes have drowned They went 40 leagues below bow. Prepare nautical down Where’s the crowd to save you now? OH NO!!! 40 leagues below bow I can’t breathe The salt begins to bleed the life out of me.
